Maximal relevance feature selection for human activity recognition in smart home

In this paper, the maximal relevance feature selection method has been applied to rank the features, and then, the feature subsets have be composed according to the value of mutual information (MI), respectively. The NB classifier has been applied to validate the feature subsets based on the maximal relevance feature selection criterion. The experiment results show the effectiveness of the maximal relevance feature selection algorithm.
