The utility model discloses a double-speed motor controller and a control method thereof. The double-speed motor controller comprises a power supply connected with all circuits and is characterized by comprising a signal acquisition circuit, a microprocessor, a display circuit, a delay output circuit, a communication interface circuit, a transmission circuit and a register. The signal acquisition circuit is connected with the display circuit, the delay output circuit, the communication interface circuit and the transmission circuit through the microprocessor. The microprocessor is further connected with an online programming circuit and a memory unit. The microprocessor is connected with an upper computer through the communication interface circuit so as to achieve remote measuring, remote control, remote adjusting and remote signaling of a double-speed motor. By adopting the structure and the method, the double-speed motor controller has the advantages of 1 being capable of detecting three-phase current of a motor loop, a one-way line voltage and the like, and 2 simultaneously being capable of monitoring operation conditions of the motor loop and having fault protection of thermal overload, stopup, three-phase current unbalance, overvoltage, undervoltage and the like provided for the motor loop.
