Hydrogen-oxygen titration and carbon monoxide chemisorption for the measurement of supported palladium surface areas

Hydrogen-oxygen titration and carbon monoxide chemisorption of silica supported palladium have been investigated, using the pulse chromatographic technique. An excellent agreement between metal surface areas derived from both methods was observed.
