PEMANFAATAN AIR LIMBAH IKAN LELE, DAUN GAMAL DAN KULIT PISANG KEPOK SEBAGAI SUMBER NUTRISI ALTERNATIF UNTUK PERTUMBUHAN SAWI (Brassica juncea L.) SECARA HIDROPONIK

The aim of this research was to find out the effect of catfish wastewater, gamal leaves, and kepok banana peels to the growth of mustard (Brassica juncea L.) in hydroponics cultivation. The research was conducted at the Hydroponics House in the Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University, Indralaya, Ogan Ilir, South Sumatra from August to October 2020. The research used 7 treatments with 3 replications. The treatmens used were B0 : AB mix 100% as control; B1 : catfish wastewater + gamal leaves 1 kg/30 liters + kepok banana peels 3 kg/30 liters (aerobically fermented); B2 : catfish wastewater + gamal leaves 1 kg/30 liters + kepok banana peels 3 kg/30 liters (anaerobically fermented); B3 : catfish wastewater + gamal leaves 1 kg/30 liters + kepok banana peels 3 kg/30 liter + AB mix 50% (aerobically fermented); B4 : catfish wastewater + gamal leaves 1 kg/30 liters + kepok banana peels 3 kg/30 liters + AB mix 50% (anaerobically fermented); B5 : catfish wastewater 100% (aerobically fermented), and B6 : catfish wastewater 100% (anaerobically fermented). The parameters observed in this research were the height of plants, the number of leaves, the length of the plant roots, the greenish level of leaves, the fresh weight of the plants, and the dry weight of the plants. The result showed that the utilization of catfish wastewater, gamal leaves, and kepok banana peels was not able to substitute partly or totally AB mix nutrition yet. This can be seen from all data observed parameters which show lower and are significantly different than data due to control treatment (AB mix). The provision of aerobically treated catfish wastewater gave relatively better results than anaerobically treatment.
