Intelligent Safety Information Dissemination Scheme for V2V Communication in VANETs

2019
Vehicular communication is an advent technology that has progressively supporting safe transportation, traffic related information and other intelligent transportation system related applications. In VANET architecture vehicles on the road lane communicates each other with the short range communication standard wireless technologies. Advances of wireless networks make access to the internet from VANETs is possible. Some of the specic characteristics of VANETs are varying mobility, transient connectivity, dynamic topology etc.. The different architectural VANET scenarios are Vehicle to Vehicle (V-V), vehicle to road-side (V-I) and vehicle to fixed connected infrastructure to provide the safety and timely delivery of captured information. In this paper, we have proposed multi agent based safety information dissemination scheme for vehicle to vehicle(V-V) communication. In the proposed dissemination scheme, we have used selection of far end node in exterior range for information delivery with reduced number of transmissions. The main contribution of our proposed research work is the design and development of critical information delivery with minimum end to end delay.
