Clinical study of infrared ray combined with miconazole nitrate in the treatment of incontinence-associated dermatitis

2020
Objective To investigate the effect of infrared ray combined with miconazole nitrate in the treatment of incontinence-associated dermatitis and the improvement of patients' quality of life. Methods A total of 80 patients with incontinence related dermatitis in this hospital were selected as the research objects, and were randomly divided into observation group and control group, 40 cases of each group. The control group was treated with miconazole nitrate once in the morning, once at noon and once in the evening. The observation group was treated with miconazole nitrate orally and infrared, once in the morning, once at noon and once in the evening. The two groups of patients were treated continuously for 3 weeks. The clinical symptom scores, clinical efficacy and incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups, and the quality of life of the two groups was evaluated by the dermatological quality of life index (DLQI). Results After treatment, the symptom scores of patients in both groups decreased, and the differences were statistically significant compared with before and after treatment(P 0.05). The scores of DLQI in the two groups before and after treatment gradually decreased, but the decrease of DLQI in the observation group was larger than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). Conclusions Infrared ray combined with miconazole nitrate in the treatment of incontinence-associated dermatitis can improve the clinical symptoms and quality of life, and safety.
