Implantação do Núcleo de Estudos em Agroecologia e Produção Orgânica no Instituto Federal Fluminense campus Itaperuna e a contribuição para o desenvolvimento sustentável da região noroeste fluminense

This article aims to share the experience of the Centre of Studies in Agroecology and OrganicProduction (NEA) of the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology campus Itaperuna,since its conception, creation and development, and the main results that have contributedto the implementation of educational, researching and extension actions in Agroecology inthe Northwest Fluminense. Supported by resources from the MCTI / MAPA / CNPq Public CallNo. 02/2016, the Centre has a special multidisciplinary character and seeks to contribute to theprocess of strengthening the network of Agroecology agents in the region, mainly through theinteractive processes arising from the consulting and Extensionist activities, applied researchin the field of biofertilizers and training and capacity activities.
