Analysis on current status of human resource of centers for disease control and prevention in remote national areas.

[Objective] To investigate the human resource allocation of public health CDCs in remote national areas, so as to provide basis for reasonable allocation public health resource. [Methods] Organizational structure investigation was conducted in 11CDCs at country level in Baise. Data were analyzed with SPSS13.0. [Results] The total professional staff in CDCs at country level in remote national area were insufficient, and the average number of CDC was 1.05 per the thousands people; The proportion of staff under 25 and 25 to 35 years old was lower than 20%; The person who had at least completed bachelor degree accounted for 3.23% ; Person with high level title of professional post accounted for 1.08% ; Person with preventive medicine professional accounted for 25.34%; The number of workers engaged in the prevention and treatment of TB and STD / AIDS were insufficient. [Conclusion] The human resources in Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Baise is insufficient and irrationally. It is necessary for the governments to reinforce the CDC’ s human resources plan and development research to improve the overall quality in CDC’ s staff.
