Effect of Pretreatment of Polyester Fabric on Mechanism Properties of Laminated Flexible Composites

Ultrasonic treatment and alkali treatment are used to treat polyester fabric,and peel strength,tensile strength and tear strength of laminated flexible composites are studied.The results show that,the weak boundary is eliminated by the cavitations of ultrasonic wave and the hydrolysis of alkali treatment to increase the contact angles and reduce the surface tension.After the alkali treatment,the peel strength,tensile strength of laminated flexible composites increased by 60%,25.8% respectively,but the tear strength decreased by 19.18%.
