High-definition multimedia interface (HDMI) double-display device and display method

The invention discloses a high-definition multimedia interface (HDMI) double-display device and a display method. The double-display device comprises a first chip and a second chip connected with the first chip. The first chip receives HDMI signals through an HDMI input port and outputs the HDMI signals to a first display device after processing the HDMI signals through an HDMI output port; and / or the first chip separates audio and video signals of the HDMI signals, converts the video signals into LVDS video signals, converts the audio signals into I2S audio signals, outputs the LVDS video signals to the second chip through an LVDS output port and outputs the I2S audio signals to the second chip through an I2S output port; the second chip receives the LVDS video signals and the I2S audio signals, integrates and converts the LVDS video signals and the I2S audio signals into HDMI signals and outputs the HDMI signals into a second display device. According to the double-display device, two HDMI devices can be used for displaying, double-display requirements of a user can be met and user experience is improved.
