Articulated shaft for vehicles, comprising a first hinge shaft portion which is rotatably coupled via a sliding piece with a second hinge shaft portion, wherein the slide piece comprises a provided with a longitudinal toothing and connected to one of the two propeller shaft portions wave-like element and a provided with a complementary to the spline spline with the other hinge shaft portion connected hub-like element, wherein said undulating member is inserted into the hub-like element, whereby relative displacement of the two propeller shaft portions it is possible in a longitudinal direction of the hinge shaft to some extent. At least one of the two splines is made of a thermoplastic material.
