The invention discloses a nano structure-based wavelength-insensitive polarizing beam splitter, a device packaging method and manufacture of a beam splitting unit. The polarizing beam splitter mainly comprises an incident collimation lens for input light to enter; a nano grating polarizing beam splitting unit capable of generating TE-state polarized light and TM-state polarized light is arranged behind the incident collimation lens; and an emergent focusing lens is arranged behind the incident collimation lens and double-optical fiber tail fibers output the TE-state polarized light and the TM-state polarized light. Various devices are compactly and reasonably packaged together, and a glass tube-based device structure is designed, which has the characteristics of simple structure, convenience of use, reliability, capacity of meeting design requirement, and the like.
