The Elephas antiquus, the man and the landscape: a interdisciplinary approach of topographic research in the Central Italy

The paper describes a fragment of Elephas Antiquus tusk discovered in a pleistocenic sediment. The morphological investigations carried out on the cross section of the tooth confirm it's belonging to this pachyderm which lived in a environments characterized by a humid temperate climate.
