Non-neuromuscular Patients (Kyphoscoliosis)

2020
Kyphoscoliosis is a cause of respiratory failure. Noninvasive ventilation is an important therapeutic option in the course of disease, and its role in chronic respiratory failure is well documented. In recent years, noninvasive ventilation is increasingly used in elderly patients and also as a palliative strategy. However, there is limited data about this role of noninvasive ventilation in patients with kyphoscoliosis.
