A 3-D object level detection device in harbour handling automatic-operation consists of 2-D driving platform erected on fixed arm of loading and unloading machine for harbour handling, rotary disc erected on 2-D driving platform and used to realize 3-D movement, measurement transducer set on rotary disc and used to make 3-D detection on object level, on-site industrial control computer for obtaining 3-D detection information being sent to control computer and for obtaining motion track to control motion of 2-D driving platform and rotary disc for realizing 3-D detection on object level.
