Chromateless treatment of zinc-plated rolled metal

In the last decade, the production of galvanized rolled metal has been considerably developed. Consumers of such a material are civil engineering, car manufacturing, and other industry branches. This work considers a possibility of replacing the chromating of the zinc-plated rolled metal by the environmentally safe siliconizing (silicification).
