Identification between Ganoderma lucidum spores and Clonorchis sinensis eggs in clinical feces examination.

This paper reported that Ganoderma lucidum spores were misdiagnosed as Clonorchis sinensis eggs in six cases of feces examination.This result raised the issue that morphological characteristics should be used in combination with detailed clinical history for the correct identification of these parasites.
