According to the damping steel coupling beam provided by the utility model, by adopting a joint function of an outer surface steel sleeve and the inner prefabricate concrete blocks, the local buckling deformation of the box type section steel coupling beam at the elastic plastic stage by a buckling restraining device, therefore an aim of improving the energy consumption capacity of the coupling beam can be improved, and the problem that the energy consumption capacity is severely degraded due to the excessive local buckling and formation of an ordinary steel coupling beam under an earthquake action can be overcome.
