Environmental sustainability is a 7 th Millennium Development Goal established by the United Nations. Major cities and entire countries in the developed world are becoming increasingly aware of the importance of actions that can be taken for environmental sustainability. This paper applies the Smart Strategies approach to examining ways that individuals can take action to sustain both personal health and the environmental health of their community.
