A subframe system (10) for the connection of at least two different roof modules to a vehicle body comprising for every bondable to the vehicle body roof modules a common sub-frame base part (2) and a plurality of different sub-frame additional components (14, 16) which are adapted to different roof modules and to complete the particular roof module for a respective auxiliary frame (18, 20) are each releasably connectable to and interchangeable with the corresponding sub-frame base component (12).
