The research of relationship between TOAST classification and EPCs content in peripheral blood of acute ischemic stroke patients

2012
Objective Observing relevance of the content of endothelial progenitor cell levels in the peripheral blood and Trial of Orgl0172 in Acute the Stroke Treatment to provide new ideas and theoretical basis for the prevention and treatment of clinical ischemic stroke. Methods using method such as imaging and ultrasound examination to select 62 cases of patients with different TOAST classification of ischemic stroke,at the same time to select 17 cases of healthy persons as a control study.Detecting the content of endothelial progenitor cell levels of different patients by using flow cytometry,by the SPSS statistical analysis, observing whether the content of endothelial progenitor cell levels in the peripheral blood is relevant to TOAST classification in different groups. Results the content of endothelial progenitor cell levels in the peripheral blood has a close correlation to acute ischemic stroke diseases.Difference of different TOAST classification of endothelial progenitor cell number was statistically significant(F = 5.063,P = 0.001).Conclusions The detection of the content of endothelial progenitor cells in peripheral blood have an active guiding role on the risk stratification in the acute ischemic stroke.
