Изучение радиопротекторных свойств катехина при гаммаи УФ-облучении растворов ДНК

2007
The result of gammaand UV-irradiation on DNA in diluted solution of ionic strenghth μ= 0,003 M NaCl with different concentrations of (+)-cathehin is studied. It is shown that under the experimental conditions cathehin cannot form stable complexes with DNA in solution. Dose dependences of DNA intrinsic viscosity in water and water-cathehin solutions obtained in the work permit to make a conclusion that (+)-cathehin protects DNA from gammaand UV-radiation. However the complete DNA radioprotection is not observed even at the small dose of 10 Gy. The DNA absorption spectra is not changed after gamma-irradiation in doses till 200 Gy at the cathehin concentration 10 -4 M. DNA conformation alterations observed at the doses till 30 Gy caused only by changes in long-range interactions in macromolecule, not in its equilibrium rigidity or secondary structure.
