INTERAKSI ANTAR ELEMEN TERHADAP PERKEMBANGAN INDUSTRI ANIMASI DI INDONESIA

Creative economy is the fourth stage of human civilization after the agricultural era, the industrial era, and the era of information as has been said Alvin Toefler in Future Shock (1970 ). Indonesian government respond to these changes by build in 2009, as the rise of the creative economy, as announced by the government. One of the creative industries sector is the potential in the field of animation, which had been developed up to 12.7 % in 2008. The growth of the visual design industry, including animation, graphic design, advertising, and multimedia - keep moving up. Growth is expected to be between 10 % - 15 % per year with a market size to $ 5 trillion. Although this figure includes large but still far behind from the animation industry in India with a market size of Rp 14 trillion and growing by 30 % each year. When referring to the success of other developing countries to the development of the animation industry, one important factor that can make the local animation industry is able to compete in terms of support from government regulations or policies regarding the animation of various elements including the government as a maker, regulator and provider of policy, research and development institutions (government, higher education), as well as support from businesses. Efforts to strengthen the synergy can be done through the National Innovation System in particular for the development of the animation industry, so it can look at the elements that support this sector, how the actual role and how the relationship between the elements in support of the development of the animation industry in Indonesia. Strengthening of the synergy results can be used to formulate a national policy agenda in the Creative Industries sector, sub- sector in particular animation.
