Study of Deck Load Transferring Path for Through Steel-Truss Composite Girder Bridge Carrying High Speed Railway

2013
In order to clarify the load transferring path of the composite bridge deck system(composed of densely placed cross beams and concrete slab) of the through steel-truss composite girder bridge under the action of loads on the bridge deck,a high speed railway bridge with a span of 96 m was cited as an example. The analysis method was employed to study the main factors affecting the bridge deck load transfer, including the ratio of the interval of cross beams and the width of concrete slab, the vertical stiffness ratio of large cross beam and small cross beam and the vertical stiffness ratio of cross beam and concrete slab, and the intensities of the impact of these factors on the load transferring ratio. The results of the analysis indicate that the vertical stiffness ratio of large cross beam and small cross beam only influences the load distribution among the large cross beams and the adjacent small cross beams, and the vertical stiffness ratio should not be greater than 5.0,and the ratio of interval of cross beams and the width of concrete slab be 0.1~0.3.According to the study results, simplified computing formulas of the load transferring ratio of the load transferring path and the load transferring ratio of each cross beam are deduced.
