X-point model for magnetic susceptibility of A-15 compounds

Abstract The X-point linear chain model for electronic structure of A-15 compounds is shown to lead to a weakly temperature dependent magnetic susceptibility χ(T) = 3micro 2 β N(0) tanh ( ω / T ) is serious disagreement with experiment.
