Mania in a Girl with Cushing's Disease

Abstract A 13-year-old girl with Cushing's disease suffered a manic episode. An adenoma of the pituitary gland was found to be the cause. After the adenoma had been removed, the girl's condition returned to normal. The affective disorder was classified as an organic mood disorder (DSM-III-R).
