Design of a Controllable Push-triggered Microfluidic Chip for Vitrification Reagent Loading/unloading

2021
Microfluidic chips can be utilized to demonstrate the vitrification reagents loading/unloading for oocytes, reducing the physical damage resulting from the transfer of cells during manual operations. In this paper, we present a controllable press-triggered microfluidic chip, which realizes the automatic loading/unloading of vitrification reagents. Unlike the reagent exchangement in traditional manual operations that requires cell transfers, cells are fixed during the vitrification in order to facilitate the medium change operation. While simplifying the operation, it uses less reagents to complete the purpose of cell shrinkage, which provides a new solution for the automation and standardization of cell vitrification
