sup 2 H( p , n )2 p spin transfer from 305 to 788 MeV

Measurements of the spin-transfer parameter {ital K}{sub {ital L}{ital L}} for {sup 2}H({ital p},{ital n})2{ital p} at 0{degree} to calibrate the neutron-beam polarization clarify a normalization discrepancy affecting {ital np} data at LAMPF. The new data are in good agreement with theoretical predictions.
