Based on the relationship between transformer fault gas and fault type, BP neural network model of transformer fault diagnosis is established. And genetic algorithm is used to optimize the weight and threshold of BP neural network. Through testing fault model, results show that the fault diagnosis rate meets the requirement and it has excellent practical application value.
