Effect of biostimulator Aminoplant mixtures with terbuthylazine and bromoxynil (Zeagran 340 SE) on herbicidal effect and yield of maizeWpływ łącznego stosowania biostymulatora Aminoplant z mieszaniną terbutyloazyny i bromoksynilu (Zeagran 340 SE) na efekt chwastobójczy oraz plonowanie kukurydzy

2015
Summary The field trials were conducted in Plewiska near Poznan in 2011–2013. The aim of these experiments was to evaluate the effects of biostimulator Aminoplant on the development and yield of maize and herbicidal activity in combined treatments. The basic protection against weeds was a treatment with a mixture of bromoxynil + terbuthylazine (Zeagran 340 SE) at the 4–6 leaf stage of maize. Aminoplant biostimulator was used twice, first time with the herbicide or separately (a few hours later), and then in a single operation at the 7– 8 leaf stage of maize about two weeks later. The studies reported that the biostimulator Aminoplant had no effect on herbicidal efficacy and the phytotoxicity to maize plants. The use of Aminoplant in combined treatment with herbicide positively influenced the yield of maize, while it had no impact on the quality parameters of maize grain. The combined use of biostimulator with herbicide provides a positive effect on the growth and productivity of maize, and additionally rational benefits in terms of reducing the number of extra agricultural treatments.
