Economic Benefit Evaluation of Renewable Power Generation Technology Based on DEA Method

In the generation industry,due to the higher construction and operation cost of plant,the efficiency is an important concept of the economic benefit evaluation.The DEA method is applied to evaluate the relative benefit of multi-input and output decision-making units.Four kinds of renewable energy technology including wind power,hydroelectric,PV generation and biomass power generation are taken for an example.The input indices are unit investment quota,depreciation rate,operation and maintenance cost,and the output index is the generation hours.The example results show that the DEA method can effectively evaluate the economic benefit of renewable energy technology,which provides the basis for the scale development.
