2012
OBJECTIVE To study the clinical efficacy and economic effects of peginterferon and common interferon for treatment of chronic hepatitis B.METHODS 100 cases of chronic hepatitis B patients in our hospital from January 2009 to January 2010 were randomly divided into two groups, each group had 50 cases, the control group were given normal interferon therapy, the treatment group were given peginterferon therapy. The treatment lasted 48 weeks, the clinical efficacy and economic costs of these two groups were compared.RESULTS The loss of HBV-DNA and HBeAg in the control group were 16%,20%,respectively,loss of HBV-DNA and HBeAg in the treatment group were 68%,76%,the difference had statistically significant between two groups(P0.05),and economic costs of the treatment group was significantly lower than the control group.CONCLUSION The effect and cost-effectiveness of peginterferon for treatment of chronic hepatitis B were better than interferon,it is worth to use in clinical practice.
