Hans Jonas tra Heidegger e Bultmann

2004
This essay investigates the nature and limits of Jonas' relation with his two teachers, Heidegger and Bultmann: in particular, their role in leading him to the problem of the existential interpretation of myth and research on the characteristics of gnosis. In Jonas' attempt to offer a unitary interpretation of the Gnostic phenomenon, not only the heuristic role played by Heideggerian conceptuality is highlighted, but also the hidden matrix of the Jewish philosopher's further intellectual process, which first aimed at meditating on nature again and rediscovering its finalistic character, and later at reasserting contemporary man's responsibility towards the future generations.
