The invention relates to an intelligent management method for pulse width modulation (PWM). The method comprises the following steps of: creating a task for detecting a signal of a PowerGD interface; duly acquiring the detected signal of the PowerGD interface from the signals of the PowerGD interfaces detected during the task; confirming a state of a host corresponding to the signal, acquired for the first time, of PowerGD interface as an initial state; when the initial state of the host is a starting state, setting a PWM port in an enabling state; and when the initial state of the host is a shut-down state, shielding the PWM port. The invention also provides an intelligent management system for PWM. By the invention, intelligent management of performing enabling and shielding on the PWM can be realized.
