Technology for producing PE armor of armored vehicle

2012
The invention discloses technology for producing a PE armor of an armored vehicle. The process flow is as follows: orthogonally arranging 100 to 200 layers of one-way weftless bulletproof fabrics by the angle ranging from 0 to 90 DEG in a composite manner - adding silicon paper on the upper surface and the lower surface - arranging special aluminum alloy plates on the upper surface and the lower surface - putting into UD-cloth bidirectional weaving machinery - turning on and off the machinery for three times for discharging air before starting the machinery so as to prevent air from being mixed between the one-way weftless bulletproof fabrics - pressurizing to 5MPa - heating to the temperature ranging from 80 to 100 DEG C, and then opening the mould to discharge air for 5 minutes - heating to the temperature of 128 DEG C - pressurizing to 50MPa - keeping the constant temperature for half an hour - forming. The PE armor has uniform fiber arrangement and outstanding glossiness as well as a low content of glue liquid, so that the fiber content is high and the bulletproof property is better. The PE armor also has light self weight so that the armored vehicle is more flexible.
