Embodiments of the invention provide a method and a device for intuitively prompting payment amount. The method comprises: when payment amount is input, determining digit number of the input payment amount in real time; according to a preset digit level loading rule, matching a number which needs to load digit level in the payment amount; loading the digit level which needs loading on the corresponding number in the payment amount, to intuitively prompt the digit level of any number in the payment amount. The method and the device solve defects in the prior art of poor user experience caused by shortage of digit level prompt in the payment amount, and with the method and the device, repeated checking is not needed.
