PARECER Nº. 635/2018 DO CONSELHO NACIONAL DE EDUCAÇÃO - CNE SOB A PERSPECTIVA DA APLICAÇÃO DO MÉTODO DE PESQUISA ESTUDO DE CASO NO ENSINO JURÍDICO

The report no. 635/2018, of the National Council of Education (CNE), which guides the new national curricular directives of Law courses, determines the interaction between research and teaching by promoting the protagonism of the student body in the teaching and learning process. In this sense, the scope of this article is the analysis of the national curricular guidelines of the undergraduate Law course, towards the research method "case study", from the perspective of report no. 635/2018, of the National Council of Education - CNE. It is, therefore, intended to relate the application of the scientific research method "case study" within the scope of the law degree course. To do so, it identifies the current legislation of the law degree course in Brazil, relating it to the report no. 635/2018, of the National Council of Education CNE. Furthermore, we verified the scientificity nature of the research method "case study", its application parameters, advantages and limitations. Afterwards the scientific research method "case study" is included as an instrument for the implementation of the new guidelines of the Law course, guided by the report no.635/2018, of the CNE, in order to justify the use of this method in the classroom in the undergraduate course in Law. This is a bibliographical and documentary research. As for the type of the study, it was used a descriptive type and a qualitative approach. As a result, it is considered that report no. 635/2018 of the National Council of Education - CNE highlights the research method "case study" as a way of transforming undergraduate Law students in active characters in the teaching and learning process.
