RUPTURE OF SUBPECTORAL PROSTHESES DURING CLOSED COMPRESSION CAPSULOTOMY

The radiological findings of extrusion of silicone gel from bilateral ruptures of subpectoral mammary prostheses are reported. A warning is given that closed manual compression of prostheses in the subpectoral plane may rupture the prosthesis as well as the scar capsule.
