The invention discloses an intelligent temperature monitoring system of a crosslinked polyethylene XLPE power cable and relates to the technical field of power cable monitoring. The system comprises a temperature sensor, a real-time temperature collector substation, a double-ring optical fiber self-recovery ring network and a working station computer; the working station computer is connected with the real-time temperature collector substation through the double-ring optical fiber self-recovery ring network, and the real-time temperature collector substation is connected with the temperature sensor through an interface circuit; the interface circuit refers to connecting the real-time temperature collector substation with the temperature sensor through a photoelectric coupler; the real-time temperature collector substation mainly comprises a central processing unit CPU, a memory, a display, a power supply, a clock unit and a self output control circuit; and an I/O interface is respectively connected with the interface circuit and an optical transmitter and receiver in the double-ring optical fiber self-recovery ring network. The intelligent temperature monitoring system disclosed by the invention has the advantages of simple structure, high reliability, strong expandability and easy installation and maintenance, and the system can find the insulation defects of the power cable, prevent the accidents and guarantee the safe operation of the cable.
