The authors illustrate the restauration of a harp in the »Germanisches Nationalmuseum« Nurnberg. Together with the conservation and restauration of the corpus, the mechanism and cleaning of the instrument, the fastness and regeneration of color (European Chinoiserie), the problems of stringing french pedal-harps of the 18th century are also regarded.
