Ion chromatograph with immobilized alkaline phosphatase reactor for the determination of adenosine phosphates

1999
Abstract An ion chromatograph equipped with an immobilized enzyme reactor was developed for the determination of adenosine phosphates. The enzyme reactor was prepared by immobilization of alkaline phosphatase onto activated glass beads. The proposed equipment made it possible to determine adenosine phosphates rapidly as phosphate ion. Adenosine monophosphate (AMP, 5×10 −5 –2×10 −4  M), adenosine diphosphate (ADP, 1×10 −5 –1×10 −4  M) and adenosine triphosphate (ATP, 1×10 −5 –1×10 −4  M) could be determined precisely with a relative error of less than 3.6%, in the presence of L -lactic acid, creatine, myoglobin, albumin, chloride, nitrate, phosphate, and sulfate ions.
