Development of new designs of casting and forging module assemblies

Abstract The paper provides an analysis of the technological capabilities, methods for producing continuously cast deformed billets and structural features of foundry-forging modules (LKM). The analysis of the most famous paintwork constructions is carried out, their shortcomings are noted. In order to improve the quality of the obtained workpieces, the reliability of operation and the ease of management during the use of paintwork materials, the authors have developed new, more advanced constructive technical solutions of devices that increase the overall efficiency of the technological process for producing deformed workpieces when using paintwork materials of the vertical type.
