PARTICIPAÇÃO COMUNITÁRIA COMO PRÁTICA DE INOVAÇÃO SOCIAL: UM ESTUDO DE CASO NO CENTRO EDUCACIONAL MARISTA LÚCIA MAYVORNE

The objective of this article is to analyze the community actions articulated to the educational-social project of the Marist Educational Center Lucia Mayvorne. This is a qualitative study, and the investigation means is the case study. The research aimed to analyze whether the relationship between project and community can be considered as a practice of social innovation. The results and the evidences found indicate there is a significant adherence of the community practice developed in the project to social innovation, since through the imbrication between the educational project and the community action, conditions are created for the promotion and consolidation of forms of individual and collective emancipation.
