Variations of the effective height of the lower ionosphere by results of analysis of tweek-atmospherics. Preliminary results
2017
Generated by fulminant discharges and propagating in the Earth-ionosphere waveguide tweek-atmospherics are often used to tracking the heights variations of the lower ionosphere over geographically large areas. Recorded by our sensors in the city of Kharkiv tweeks were analyzed, and preliminary results are presented in this paper. A sufficiently accurate lightning centers coordinates determination is shown, and lower boundary ionosphere heights variation was about 2 km, with a maximum of 1–2 hours of local time.
