Resonant Characteristics In 7X7 Microwave Discharge Array Based On Microstrip Split Ring Resonator

There is a growing interest in combining the adjustable electrical properties of plasma with the novel characteristics of metamaterials. Resonant frequencies and electric field distributions of a two-dimensional 7x7 discharge array consisting of 49 split ring resonators (SRR) are investigated.
