Analysis on Gas Geological Law of No.15 Seam in Bao'an Mine

In order to reduce the gas disasters of No.15 seam in Bao'an Mine,based on the gas parameters measured from the seam,mine production information and site measured gas contents,a comprehensive analysis was conducted on the gas deposit features of the seam gas in the folds,faults,sink hole and other geological structural area.The result showed that the gas content of the seam would be generally increased with the depth increased in strike.And the gas content was in the tendency that from high in north to low in south.The gas content distribution in part of the seam was imbalance with the influence of geological structure.The synclinal part would be larger than the anticline part.The seam gas content near the normal slip fault would be lower than the normal area at the same elevation,the seam gas content near the reversed fault would be higher than the normal area at the same elevation and the gas content around the sink holes would be lower than the normal area at the same elevation.
