This paper briefly summaried the basic concept of troposphere atmospheric refraction delay, did a comparison to several commonly used continued fraction's mapping functions, the result indicates that the models of mapping function have great difference in low elevation angle, it has explanated that there are many limitations to the correction of the atmospheric refraction by using mapping function model.
