Diagnosis of liver fibrosis by FibroScan in the patients with chronic hepatitis B

The clinical application of FibroScan has been widely validated in the patients with chronic hepatitis C.In recent years,it has been used to evaluate liver fibrosis in the patients with chronic hepatitis B.However,it should be considered that changes of biochemical markers,virological factors and metabolic status of the patients as well as personal factor of operators may influence liver stiffness measurement using FibroScan.Therefore,it is necessary to determine the cut-off value of FibroScan in different conditions.This paper focuses on the diagnosis of liver fibrosis by FibroScan in the patients with chronic hepatitis B.
