The cat-scratch disease is an infection that usually occurs with painful lymphadenopathy, or fever of unknown origin. It is transmitted by a bite or scratch bacteriemic and / or asymptomatic cat. This article describes the analysis of a six-year patient entering the emergency room with fever, constitutional symptoms, lymphadenopathy, emesis, prior contact with cat scratch and bite performed. Possible cat-scratch disease was considered therapeutic trial with azithromycin, and finally exit began. Outpatient clinic report comes to Bartonella henselae IgM 1/200 with what their diagnosis was confirmed.
