Effective energy supply of population is one of the key national problems. The efficiency of energy supply is mostly influenced by the centralization level of energy generation. Large capacity power plants have higher efficiency in converting heat, lower operational costs and it is slightly easier to solve the problem of decreasing pollution by the generating machines.On the other hand, high centralization level leads to higher loss during energy transport andprogress-slowing factors during monopolization. Some of the economically developed countries began decentralization in electric energy generation sphere. Russia probably has the highest centralization level, but even there the largest part of heat energy is produced by district, quarter and home boiler houses.In almost all cases the consumers of cold supply themselves with this energy. Requirements to climatic conditions of residential, public and working places constantly grow also in summer, which gives reasons to think about more effective ways to supply consumers with cold. Combined generation of electric energy, heat and cold in one energetic complex (trigeneration) has a number of significant advantages. The most important of them is considerable increase of the fuel economy because of the complex energy utilization. In case of trigeneration to select the level of centralization we have to acknowledge production and transportation features of every component.Optimal level of centralization is in the area of quarter energy producing machines based on low-power gas turbines. The most obvious fuel for such machines is natural gas of medium pressure (not higher than 0.3 MPa). To use gas turbines fuel systems increasing its pressure are required.
